Larry Dean Kramer Jr.  - Photographer

Larry is the photographer and founder of Dean Photography (a.k.a. deanphotography.net). 

Larry's work has been published in Cleveland Magazine, Scene Magazine, The News Herald, Western Reserve FOCUS Magazine, various other private publications, company and nonprofit newsletters, websites, CDs and marketing/promotional materials.  He has studied in art programs at Cleveland State University and Tri-C and competed in stat and local art competitions. He works primarily in digital but also uses 35mm, color and black & white.  

Areas of excellence

His success in event photography stems from a remarkable ability to capture the moment.  Larry has been hired to cover benefit galas, weddings, concerts, walks, golf outings and sporting events.  Most recently shooting for the nationally-renowned groups like the bands Wish You Were Here, a tribute to Pink Floyd and Mojo Risin', a tribute to the Doors, and rising stars like Jackie and The Singing Angels. 

Larry has been sought out for family, school and even pet portraits.  But even in these areas Larry excels, taking families to the park and capturing not only the family in a gorgeous outdoor setting, but also the children laughing and the affection between them.

In addition, Larry's photographs are set apart by innovative framing creating beautiful, striking and unique images.  He also sees beauty and interest in unlikely places such as industrial zones, bridge waterways, and aged architecture, but through the lens he shares his vision with the audience.  His architecture works are some of the most enticing.

Larry's wife, Danielle, handles the many office management including scheduling, client follow-up, and invoicing.  Danielle will often assist Larry at weddings and other events.
